Sheet Metal Programmer
Join our dynamic team as a Sheet Metal Programmer, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of machines in our flexible manufacturing system area. This role involves setting up and operating the S4/P4 Salvagnini machine, spot welder, brake press, and Haeger machines. Responsibilities: Operate and set up S4/P4 Salvagnini machine, spot welder, brake press, and Haeger machines. Perform inspections every 15 minutes using calipers and micrometers. Multi-task and operate a variety of machines throughout the day. Read and understand work orders to ensure accurate production. Essential Skills: Experience with shear, press brake, calipers, sheet metal, CAD/CAM, Trumpf, spot welding, Haeger. Ability to read blueprints and work with hardware. Knowledge of basic math. Ability to read a tape measure. Willingness to stand for 10 hours throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Blueprint experience. Fabrication experience. You will primarily work with 18-gauge thinner sheet metal in a spacious facility. The 2nd shift starts at 10am, and the team consists of approximately three other people, promoting independent work and high-quality performance. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
