*Job Summary*
The Placement Specialist will be responsible for placing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance coverage for small to middle-market accounts. This role involves working directly with insurance carriers, negotiating terms, and supporting internal teams to ensure optimal coverage solutions for our clients.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Place P&C insurance coverage with carriers in line with agency guidelines
* Analyze and compare coverage options
* Develop expertise in carrier coverage forms and underwriting appetite
* Negotiate premiums, terms, and conditions with underwriters
* Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
* Provide quotes and coverage recommendations to producers
* Support agency personnel with placement-related guidance
*Qualifications*
* Active P&C license (required)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial insurance placement
* Experience with small to middle-market accounts
* Personal Lines experience with a desire to grow in Commercial Lines will be considered
*Key Skills*
