Sales Director
in
Houston, TX
to help share the future of our customer partnerships and market presence. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, relationship-driven sales leader who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving meaningful business outcomes.
As a Sales Director, you'll play a critical role in understanding Trinity's enterprise strategy, market position, and full service offering. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to major accounts – you'll be accountable for deeply understanding their needs, customer needs, product demand, and quickly and effectively sell Trinity’s full service offering to drive deeper into each strategic account’s supply chain. This role requires a confident communicator, a strategic thinker, and a leader who can influence at every level of an organization.
What you’ll do
Build strong relationships across multiple levels within Major accounts (C-suite to daily decision makers)
Lead the full sales cycle with confidence, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and the ability to walk away when needed
Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Financial, and Systems groups to ensure total customer experience
Sell across Trinity’s full platform, bringing in the right resources to maximize revenue and generate new business opportunities
Contribute to annual forecasting and financial planning for each market segment
Leverage Trinity’s business tools (ex. Salesforce, Tableau) to manage accounts and drive performance
Collaborate with market strategy to convert leads into long term customers
Consistently achieve sales quotas andוגע on revenue objectives
Develop a strong understanding of the commodity markets and the products and services TrinityRail
Travel as needed to support customer relationships and business growth
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree required
8+ years of overall sales experience with strong exposure to B2B Sales & Leasing
Rail industry knowledge and general understanding of railroad equipment
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Proven success in solution-selling environments
Demonstrated ability to negotiate, close deals and manage complex accounts
