RTW POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Designer, RTW, plays an essential role in the Technical Design process for Cult Gaia. The Technical Designer’s primary goal is to produce exceptional garments that meet or exceed Cult Gaia’s standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Tech Packs with construction callouts, target measurements and grading. Send Tech Pack Fit Comments and Grading to vendors after each fit round. Communicate with vendors on a daily basis. Problem solves construction and production issues. Elevate the brand by paying close attention to detail, construction and fit. Maintain deliveries by fitting and sending comments in a timely manner. Participates and leads live fitting. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
10 years experience in Technical Design of RTW for American or European Brands, preferably Contemporary or Designer Brands. Ability to lead fittings and solve fit challenges without assistance. Strong pattern making knowledge. Adept at collaborating with cross functional teams. Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Good organization and communication skills. Proven ability to be a valued contributor. BENEFITS
