We are seeking a
Senior Technical Designer – Denim
to own the full product journey from concept through final production. This role is ideal for a highly experienced technical designer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings deep denim expertise. You will lead fit, construction, grading, and quality, partnering cross-functionally to ensure every garment meets premium standards. What You’ll Do:
Create and manage garment specifications and standards within
PLM
for assigned categories Own the product lifecycle from initial style development through final production approval Develop garment fit, construction, grading, and trim using tech packs, flat patterns, and fit comments Build comprehensive tech packs with detailed specifications, construction details, and digital patterns Inspect samples to ensure alignment with quality and fit standards Communicate revisions to overseas factories through clear fit comments and updated specs, patterns, construction details, and sketches Execute fit comments efficiently to stay aligned with production timelines Review graded nest patterns and issue grading guidelines post-fit approval Partner with Product Integrity to creatively resolve quality and construction challenges What You’ll Need:
8–10+ years of technical design experience, with strong
denim expertise Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and decision-making skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication, trims, and colorways Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into production-ready tech packs Experience working directly with
overseas factories
(onsite Vernon denim experience is a major plus) High integrity, accountability, and collaborative mindset
