Base pay range $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Headquartered in Chicago, IL, Puttshack USA opened its first location in 2021 as an upscale, tech‑infused mini‑golf experience that appeals to everyone. It leans on ground‑breaking technology to elevate the game while also serving world‑class food and a full bar in a cool environment.

Position Summary Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one‑of‑a‑kind guest experience. The Server Assistant role is an essential part of floor operation, responsible for delivering food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, cleaning and sanitizing tables and golf courses, and maintaining a friendly and caring service environment.

Schedule / Hours Our venues are open 7 days/week, typically from 11 am‑1 amerging. Positions have variable schedules, meaning a typical weekly schedule may range from 15 to 30 hours depending on business needs and availability. While we try to accommodate scheduling preferences, flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

Bring your 'A' Game every day.

Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed overall experience expectations.

Greet guests with a warm welcome and sincere smile.

Assist the service team with all food and beverage service.

Deliver food and drinks to guests in the dining room, bar, and golf courses following service steps.

Transport dirty dishes to tray or dishroom.

Quickly and efficiently clean, sanitize, and reset tables.

Stock and maintain supplies at service stations.

Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.

Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.

Take direction and be a team player.

Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those in the Associate Handbook.

Perform additional duties as assigned, including side‑work, opening, and closing duties.

Required Skills and Experience

Must be 18+ years of age.

Prior hospitality or food/beverage experience preferred.

Strong emotional intelligence and self‑awareness.

High standards of guest satisfaction.

Ability to obtain any required licenses and certifications for your location.

Experience safely and effectively transporting food and beverage.

Sense of urgency and ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Effective communication, both written and spoken, to follow job requirements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, move safely through all venue areas, including stairs and uneven surfaces.

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Work in confined, crowded spaces with high noise levels and variable temperatures.
