Channel Sales Manager , you will develop new and maintain/build existing relationships with Channel Partners, interacting with internal Metronet support teams to enable partners to distribute Metronet services effectively. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the telecommunication landscape to navigate both complex business relationships and technical requirements of service provider solution offerings. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
New Channel Partner Acquisition: Identify Channel Partner candidates, develop relationships through cold calling, and other prospecting methods. Partner Training: Convey Metronet’s Value Proposition; Review Product, Pricing and Procedures; Demonstrate Metronet’s on-line tools and resources; Support and manage the efforts of external agents involved in the sale of Metronet services Develop strong relationships with our current channel partners to bring added awareness to the Metronet brand Provide proposals and presentations, assist agents in managing their customers and prospects Coordinate regular outreach to current agent base to promote training programs Document lessons learned and implement new best practices Other job-related duties as requested JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College, or equivalent combination of education and experience Candidate will be highly motivated, organized, and self-driven with a minimum of 3-5 years of indirect telecom sales experience Proficiency with MS Office Suite Willingness to work as a team and independently. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
