We are currently seeking for a Training Specialist for our ever-growing team at Landmark Construction! Position Summary

The Landmark Construction Training Specialist will report to the Director of Human Resources and Risk and be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of company training programs to improve employee skills, performance, and alignment with company goals. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating instructional materials, facilitating various types of training (online, in‑person both in classroom and in the field), and monitoring the effectiveness of programs through feedback and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization. Develop and maintain an understanding of the company’s business sectors – site/civil, utilities, industrial and concrete. Understand the skill sets required by Landmark Construction employees and assess knowledge and skills gaps. Based on direction by leadership and the assessed skills gaps, develop curriculum, learning objectives, and instructional materials for different training programs and formats, including online modules, workshops, and classroom and field instruction. Facilitate various training sessions including new hire orientations, safety training, soft skills training, and job skills training. Deliver ongoing professional development to employees at all levels. Using instructions, design software and other tools. Create and update training content, such as manuals, guides, presentations, and simulations. Research new training material, methods, and offerings that would enhance the company training program. Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking to ensure learning objectives are met and to make necessary adjustments. With the assistance of the HR & Training Coordinator, manage administrative tasks like scheduling classes, organizing enrollments, and ensuring training spaces are equipped. Use the Learning Management System (LMS) effectively to track and deliver online training. Evaluate third party vendors to determine applicability and potential effectiveness. Manage third party vendors, as needed. Skills And Attributes

Instructional Design: Expertise in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for adult learners to include effective use of training development tools and software. Communication and Training Delivery: public speaking, and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Ability to effectively facilitate in‑person training in a classroom or worksite environment. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess needs, analyze data, and design solutions. Must be adept with traditional and modern training methods for adults. Adaptability: Openness to learning new software, technologies, and instructional techniques to keep content current. Organization and Planning: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple training activities, schedules, and resources effectively. Safety: Background and understanding of Safety programs and training. Able to deliver Safety training to all levels of the organization. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Physical Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, hear and see English and Spanish. Must have Microsoft Suite skills including Excel, Word, Outlook. Must be able to sit, stand, walk and sometimes lift 30 pounds. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, safety glasses, hard hat with chin strap, reflective safety vest, gloves, ear protection, face shield, safety toe boots.
