to join their team. This role supports attorneys handling complex deals involving office towers, retail centers, industrial properties, and mixed‑use developments.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including purchase agreements, leases, financing instruments, and closing binders
Lead coordination of due diligence: title and survey review, zoning compliance, and environmental reports
Serve as a primary liaison with clients, brokers, lenders, and title companies to ensure seamless closings
Maintain transaction timelines, manage calendars, and oversee document checklists
File legal documents with relevant agencies and courts
Provide high‑level administrative support including scheduling, billing, and correspondence
Candidate Profile
Minimum 7 years of experience
as a legal assistant or paralegal in commercial real estate law
Deep understanding of New York real estate practices, closing procedures, and title documentation
Proven ability to manage multiple high‑stakes transactions independently
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software platforms
Preferred Experience
Multi‑property or multi‑jurisdictional transactions
Commercial leasing and financing structures
Experience supporting senior partners or managing junior staff
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 , based on experience
Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half for hours worked beyond 35 per week
