Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls as a Sheet Metal & Stator Inspector. In this role, you will perform inspections on parts and components to ensure dimensional quality is upheld per P&W standards. To succeed in this role, you will be someone with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. The person in this role will work on our 2nd shift, which is Monday-Thursday from 3pm-1am. Training will take place on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 5am-3pm) for up to 6 months before transitioning to 2nd shift. Pratt & Whitney in Wichita Falls, TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40. Key Responsibilities:

Perform Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection on components per written instructions which sometimes include Overhaul Manuals or CIR's in lieu of PMS work instructions. Document Inspection results on applicable forms Identify and schedule repair of non-conforming components Work parts to ensure that dimensions are met (cold work, etc.) Work with Customer Service to properly create repair estimate quotes Work with engineering in repair development and problem solving Print all component routers for all products when needed Prepare final certifying documentation for assigned components Authorize by signature, on behalf of the repair station, the airworthiness of components Reading blueprints/drawings, Engine Manuals as required Interact actively with marketing to ensure customer satisfaction Aid in the development and maintenance of repair schemes Prepare all necessary documentation for all components Other duties as required to support company objectives Job is being posted for the Sheet Metal Cell, but will require additional cross-training in other cells Qualifications You Must Have:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Qualifications We Prefer:

Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments Previous experience in Quality Inspection, Aviation, and/or OEM environment This position will require qualification as a FAA Part 65 repairman, which you will obtain through on the job training and development
