Pay Range
$30/hr (W2) to $33/hr (W2, no benefits). Rate negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Training Schedule
Will train the selected candidate in a week.
Interview Process
2 step video interview (maximum 2 videos). One round only for certain stages.
Background Check
GBTS must clear prior to start.

Summary
The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Event Planner to efficiently support the coordination and completion of in?person and virtual events for a large global law firm. An ideal candidate is passionate, detail?oriented, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supports all aspects of event planning from venue scouting, equipment logistics, room setup, and day?of management.
- Nurture relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts while supporting all logistical aspects of events.
- Work with internal staff, clients, and vendors to coordinate and establish event requirements.
- Support planning and facilitation of logistics for all events, including guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, and dcor.
- Support on?site preparations, production, and event breakdown; ensure consistent, high?level service throughout all phases.
- Manage virtual events/webinars from end?to?end (stakeholder intake, tech runs, event follow?up).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm environment.
- Technologically adept.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple aspects of an event.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to excel under pressure and produce quality work.
- Work productively and cooperatively with other employees.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- High Priority: Previous experience within a Law Firm or Legal Entity.
- Secondary Option: Candidates from Corporate Headquarters or Fortune 500 environments will be considered.
- Note: Candidates from small firms will not be accepted for this role.
Virtual Event Proficiency
Experience managing virtual event platforms is a strong plus.
Soft Skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of professional polish to interact directly with attorneys and partners.
Availability
Must be flexible to work after?hours occasionally, as events often extend into the evening.
Candidate Success Profile
- Proven track record in high?stakes corporate environments.
- Technologically adept enough to handle virtual meeting logistics while physically managing an onsite room setup.
- Comfortable with the hands?on nature of event planning (e.g., setting up furniture, coordinating catering) and the high?level stakeholder management.
