We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with strong strategic and hands‑on experience to help build a dynamic social presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Threads, and emerging platforms. This role blends strategy, research, content creation, community engagement, and youth culture insights. You’ll work with large respondent and creator networks to develop authentic narratives that resonate with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, while leveraging AI tools to enhance research and creativity. Key Responsibilities Social Strategy & Planning Develop social‑first strategies based on trends, insights, and audience analysis. Build and manage content calendars. Research platform trends and competitors; deliver weekly trend reports. Analyze performance and identify growth opportunities. Content Development Create engaging, on‑trend content using AI and traditional tools. Collaborate with creative teams on asset production. Oversee content from concept to publishing. Work with creators to develop authentic youth‑focused content. Community Management Respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms. Implement engagement strategies to grow and nurture community. Host or coordinate IG/TikTok Lives. Partner with Community Manager on content plans and promotions. Youth Culture Research Gather insights from youth creator networks. Deploy questions and surveys to understand trends and behaviors. Synthesize findings into clear recommendations for campaigns and strategy. Leadership & Collaboration Represent the brand across social platforms. Support and mentor creatives and creators. Stay current on best practices and new AI/social tools. Required Qualifications 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally with youth‑focused brands Proven success growing presence and engagement across multiple platforms Strong understanding of Gen Z and Gen Alpha digital behaviors Experience with scheduling, analytics, and community management tools Excellent creative writing and visual storytelling skills Fluent English Experience collaborating with creators and cross‑functional teams Nice To Have Experience with AI content creation tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, etc.) Knowledge of social media advertising and paid promotion Video editing and light graphic design experience Understanding of the creator economy and influencer trends Familiarity with AI analytics and social listening tools Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM PST Compensation: Contractor model - USD salary.
