Responsibilities
Analyze, interpret, negotiate, acquire, and prepare Oil and Gas Leases
Farmin/Farmout Agreements
Joint Venture Agreements
Joint Operating Agreements
Participation Agreements
Exploration Agreements
Examine and cure requirements set forth in drilling and division order title opinions
Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and associated expenditures
Job Requirements
Landman with 7+ years of in‑house oil and gas industry experience, preferably including work in the Appalachia Basin
Experience in drafting a wide range of agreements, including Operating Agreements (O/A), Farmin (F/I), and Farmout (F/O) Agreements
Proven ability to supervise brokers, acquire leases, and cure title issues
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment
Bachelor's degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
