The Social Emotional Support Coach (SESC) provides targeted support to assigned childcare centers in Palm Beach County through educator training, classroom observation, behavior modeling, and social-emotional skill groups. This field-based role requires flexibility, including occasional evening hours to meet center and family needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver trainings, observations, behavior support, and social-emotional groups in childcare settings.
Collaborate with center staff to develop support plans based on needs assessments and data.
Build strong relationships with educators and families through consistent communication.
Implement evidence-based practices such as Circle of Security and Conscious Discipline.
Maintain accurate documentation, participate in trainings and meetings, and offer flexible scheduling support.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or related field with 2+ years in behavior management or early childhood classroom support
At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting or relevant experience required.
Bilingual (Spanish and/or Creole) required
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Able to work flexible schedules (including daytime, evenings, or weekends if needed) and adapt to changing work locations
Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record required
