What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Handle incoming calls/emails from prospective customers regarding property/casualty insurance

Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and sales techniques

Provide explanations and recommendations to applicants regarding appropriate coverage

Complete necessary applications and follow up for required documents and payments

Contribute to team quotas by meeting individual sales goals and supporting team objectives

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of three years of related work experience in sales of property/casualty and life insurance

Active state licensing for property/casualty products

High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred

Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and insurance products

Ability to communicate technical insurance information effectively to customers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in a call center environment with exposure to multiple product telemarketing

Participation in professional insurance coursework
