What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Receive and respond to incoming calls/emails from commercial insurance prospects, educating clients about coverage needs

Research and prospect potential commercial insurance customers to close sales

Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and provide tailored insurance solutions

Complete necessary applications and forms, issue conditional contracts, and collect payments to finalize sales

Provide ongoing customer service and sales support, including cross-selling additional products

What is Required (Qualifications)

High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred

Minimum of three years of related work experience in sales and insurance

State licensing as required for property/casualty products

Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and commercial insurance products

Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with prospective customers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in selling commercial line insurance products

Proficiency in insurance processing systems and practices

Participation in professional insurance coursework

Technologically savvy with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills to overcome objections and close sales
