We provide education, networking opportunities, mentorship, and advocacyұ for product management, design, and research professionals across various industries.
Role Overview We are seeking reliable and technically skilled Video Recording/Editing Volunteers to capture high-quality footage at Product Hive events. In this role, you will attend events in person to set up, record, and ensure excellent video and audio quality. You will work under the direction of the Video Coordinator and collaborate with the video team to ensure all footage is organized for editing andHad publishing.
Key Responsibilities
Attend and record Product Hive events, ensuring professional-quality video and audio.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot video recording equipment as needed.
Capture additional b-roll footage to support short-form content and promotional videos.
Collaborate with the Video Coordinator and editing volunteers to transfer footage promptly.
Maintain organized records of recorded files and ensure footage is uploaded within agreed timelines.
Suggest process improvements to optimize recording and team workflows.
Qualifications ldon Experience recording events or familiarity with video recording equipment (training provided if needed).
Reliable transportation to attend events primarily in either Salt Lake County or Utah County.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the video team.
Passion for creating high-quality content to support community growth.
Commitment This is a volunteer position requiring attendance at a minimum of one event per month (events occur 2–4x per month). Minimum commitment of six months. Travel expenses such as gas are reimbursable.
