About the role | Ko te mahi nei The role of Senior Business Analyst works across Digital projects and programmes providing business analysis services to create value and deliver outcomes for Digital, the organisation and customers. You will coordinate the effort of multiple business analysts assigned to a programme/project as well as supporting the development of business analysis practices in team members and peers.

This role works within our large and diverse Digital Unit and we're looking for someone with demonstrated experience in the application of Business Analysis tools and techniques to create value in large or complex organisations. Proven experience in delivering business analysis services is required, alongside a strong collaborative way of working.

Specific IT experience, although not essential would be very helpful.

We're looking for someone with the wow factor, someone with an awesome personality and who is a self-starter with excellent organisational skills. Someone who meets the challenges of working within projects with a smile and can work well in a fluid environment (with the odd bit of chaos) and who likes to work with the team to get on top of problems and figure out solutions.

Hours of work - Full time

Position - Fixed Term - 18 months

Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices - 53 Hereford Street

Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $105,450 - $117,167 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
