We are seeking a highly skilled, strategically minded Senior Digital Manager (Private Care) to lead the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of our Private Care digital presence. This role is central to enhancing our brand, strengthening referrer and patient engagement, and supporting commercial growth.
As the digital lead for Private Care, you will own the strategy, performance and evolution of the Private Care website and associated digital products. You’ll champion UX, user centred design, accessibility and data driven improvement, ensuring our digital channels offer an exceptional experience to patients, families, clinicians, referrers and international partners—particularly in the Middle East.
You will work closely with senior leaders, the wider Digital, Marketing, Communications and PR teams, and external partners, helping to position The Royal Marsden Private Care as the first choice provider of private cancer care globally.

The post-holder will ensure that Private Care digital channels are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with the needs of patients, families, referrers, and partners. They will drive digital excellence, enhance the Private Care brand online, and work to deliver against our commercial objectives, supporting revenue growth through effective digital engagement, in the UK and internationally (predominantly the Middle East).
This role includes dotted-line management responsibilities and requires close, collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the digital, PR and communications and marketing teams.

Digital strategy and leadership
Develop and deliver a clear digital roadmap aligned to Private Care’s strategic, commercial and patient‑experience priorities. Provide expert leadership on UX, content quality, accessibility and digital performance. Shape digital policies, advise senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making at a senior level.
UX, content and website management
Lead a full UX review of the Private Care website, identifying opportunities to improve navigation, accessibility, conversion and user satisfaction. Oversee website structure, content, security, functionality and ongoing development. Guide content creation in partnership with communications teams, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with the Private Care brand. Ensure digital content meets the needs of key audiences including self‑pay patients, GPs, consultants, Embassy referrers, corporates and insurers.
Commercial growth and digital performance
Optimise user journeys to increase enquiries and reduce drop‑off. Tailor digital experiences for international audiences, with particular emphasis on the Middle East. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a best‑in‑class digital experience. Lead analytics and reporting, tracking KPIs such as traffic, conversion, engagement and enquiry volumes.
Project and stakeholder management
Lead digital development projects from concept to delivery, managing suppliers, agencies and internal teams. Facilitate workshops and co‑design sessions with clinical, operational and corporate colleagues.
