Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to provide dedicated administrative and operational support to the Head of Sales and the wider sales team. The primary mission of this role is to offload critical daily administrative tasks, allowing leadership to focus on strategic growth initiatives and business development.
Key Responsibilities The Sales Operations Manager will be the administrative backbone of the sales function, focusing on efficiency and process management. Responsibilities include:
Sales Platform Management & Reporting
Salesforce Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, managing data integrity, lead flow, tracking opportunities, and ensuring accurate reporting for the sales pipeline.
Reporting: Generate and distribute standard and custom sales reports, dashboards, and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into sales efficiency.
Proposal & Contract Management
Document Generation: Own the end-to-end process of creating and managing proposals and contracts using PandaDocs (or similar tools).
Compliance: Ensure all sales documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal policies.
General Sales Administration
Provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Sales, including scheduling, correspondence, and project tracking.
Manage general operational workflows to ensure the sales process runs smoothly and efficiently from lead generation to contract signing.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in a Sales Operations, Sales Administration, or similar role.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
Document Management: Experience with proposal and contract management tools (e.g., PandaDocs or similar).
Operational Mindset: Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on process efficiency.
Location Requirement: Must be based in or possess the legal right to work in South Africa.
