Create newsletters, digital publications, infographics, one‑pagers, and executive‑facing presentations and reports

Write and edit newsletters and short‑form articles that support program updates and internal communications

Translate complex, technical, or operational content into clear, accessible, and visually compelling designs

Apply and maintain brand standards, accessibility requirements, and government guidelines (including Section 508) across all deliverables

Collaborate directly with AFCEC stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to gather requirements and iterate on solutions

Manage assigned work independently, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight

Secondary Responsibilities

Support internal IronArch design needs as capacity allows

Contribute to shared design assets and process improvements that promote consistency and efficiency

Requirements

5–7 years of professional graphic design experience

Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills across digital and print media

Experience writing or editing newsletters or short‑form articles

Proficiency with industry‑standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)

Working knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508, and experience applying them to digital and document‑based deliverables

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize competing work

Experience working in enterprise or government environments preferred

Clear communication skills and comfort working in client‑facing settings

Preferred Experience

Prior Air Force Experience

Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense programs
