VAGABLONDE TRAVEL is looking for a talented and motivated Vice President of Communications to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the communication strategies of a growing company dedicated to transforming the travel experience for our clients.
As the VP of Communications, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing communication plans that enhance our brand's visibility and engage our audience. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that our messaging aligns with our mission and resonates with our stakeholders. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 – $200,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy
Oversee all external communications, including press releases and media relations
Manage the company’s social media presence and digital marketing initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to align communication strategies with business goals
Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception
Lead crisis communication efforts and develop response strategies
Coordinate internal communications to enhance employee engagement
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers
Requirements
Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience with digital marketing and social media management
Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans
Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness
Proficiency in communication tools and platforms
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
