Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Digital Product Designer. SUMMARY
We’re seeking a Digital Product Designer to help shape a world‑class mobile experience powering a groundbreaking next‑generation hardware product. This role will lead design efforts for iOS and Android apps, collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and UX Research to deliver intuitive, impactful, and visually consistent interfaces. The ideal candidate is a senior designer with deep experience in product design for mobile apps (bonus points for experience with hardware). DUTIES
Design user interfaces and interactions for mobile apps (iOS and Android) and connected hardware experiences Translate research insights and product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product managers to ensure feasibility and quality throughout the development lifecycle Partner with UX Research to iterate designs based on user feedback and testing Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation for cohesive, inclusive experiences across all touchpoints Champion accessibility and usability design principles Support operational planning and delivery of long‑term initiatives for APV Present design strategy and rationale to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field 7 years of experience designing mobile apps, ideally for hardware products Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end design for consumer‑facing digital products Expertise in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms Experience collaborating with engineering and QA teams in Agile environments Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app design, hardware‑connected experiences, and design system work Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design Excellent communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity through organized, actionable design steps Comfortable presenting and facilitating discussions with senior leadership Experience with app creation with wearables for workout/sports (e.g., Fitbit, Peloton, Apple Watch); experience with hardware/app creation with products like Alexa, Google Nest, Ring, etc. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
