Ignite Glass Studios is a state-of-the-art glass studio, gallery, and event space located in Chicago’s West Loop. Known for its educational and welcoming atmosphere, the studio offers hands-on glassblowing classes, workshops, team-building events, and professional bench rentals. Its gallery features exhibitions of renowned artists’ works alongside custom creations by resident glass artisans. Additionally, Ignite serves as an inspiring venue for private, corporate, and community events ASN spaces including a glassblowing studio, an outdoor garden, a rooftop deck, and a conference room, collectively spanning approximately 9,000 square feet. Dedicated to fostering creativity, learning, and unique experiences, Ignite provides exceptional service to clients and visitors alike. Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role in the Greater Chicago Area with the potential to become full-time. The role involves coordinating and managing various events, assisting with the planning and execution of gallery operations, assisting withylie building maintenance and overseeing day-to-day interactions with clients and visitors. Responsibilities also include providing exceptional customer service, promoting events to attract attendance, managing booking processes, and supporting the sales team in growing engagement and client partnerships. The position requires collaboration with the studio's staff to ensure smooth operations and a successful experience for all guests and patrons. Strongest candidates will have a passion for and experience in working in art centered spaces. The position reports to the Directors & Owners of Ignite. Compensation:

$20/hr, Hourly Qualifications

2 years+ of retail experience. 1 year+ of event experience. Strong customer service and communication skills to engage with clients, guests, and team members effectively. Proven experience in event planning and event marketing, with an ability to organize and execute memorable events. Skills in sales to attract new clients and grow business opportunities through relationship-building and promoting studio offerings. Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to oversee multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, flexible in a dynamic environment, and a passion for the arts or event-based industries. Able to work variable and/or rotating shifts including many weekends and evenings. Experience in the hospitality, events, or arts sectors is highly advantageous(".");

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related areas is a plus. Seniorityitura level
