Summary The Sales Analyst will report to the Head of Sales and support key functions of the team's fiscal objectives. The role involves gathering data and information for analysis to capture and organize relevant data into actionable insights, developing user-friendly insights and in-depth analyses to influence strategic business decisions internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Conduct Annual Customer Stratification, updating monthly, and use data to develop strategies that improve sales productivity.
Provide sales leadership with sales trends and business analytics to highlight critical insights and fuel growth.
Assist marketing with co‑op strategy and program development, measuring ROI and success of programs.
Collect, coordinate and manage selling expenses from the sales team, reviewing with Head of Sales monthly.
Assist sales leadership and marketing with forecasting monthly, quarterly and annually.
Manage domestic and international distributor and retailer POS data for business analysis.
Create and build analytical tools, reports, and processes to identify growth opportunities.
Aid the sales team in being their internal project manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business is required.
Ability to interpret data is necessary.
3+ years minimum in an analyst role is required.
Experience with CPG data tools such as Protobrand, Nielsen, POS, COOP Digity is preferred.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail are required.
Excellent problem‑solving ability is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel is required.
Additional knowledge in Callahan, D365, PowerBI, COOP Digity, IRI is a plus.
Travel required: 10 %.
The pay range for this role is $69,437 – $104,156 per year, based on skill set, experience, and other factors. Eligible employees may also participate in a bonus incentive program.
