Legal Operations Associate - Real Estate Closings

What You’ll Do
Real Estate Closings (Primary Focus): Manage residential real estate closing files from opening through post-closing. Open and organize files in Qualia. Order title searches, mortgage payoffs, HOA letters, and other pre-closing items. Coordinate with all parties including real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers. Track deadlines and ensure files are moving efficiently. Prepare closing files for attorney review. Schedule and support in-office closings and coordinate mobile-attorney closings. Handle post-closing tasks including recordings, closing package shipments, and disbursements. Operations & Support: Maintain organized digital and physical files. Respond to closing-related emails and inquiries professionally. Escalate legal issues or concerns to the attorney as needed. Assist with improving workflows and internal processes over time. What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in real estate closings, title, or a law firm setting is strongly preferred. Notary Public (preferred) or willingness to obtain a commission within a reasonable time after hire (firm support provided). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Professional communication style with clients and third parties. Tech-savvy and willing to learn new systems (Qualia experience is a plus). Reliable, self-motivated, and interested in growing with a small firm. Work Environment
In-office position working closely with the attorney in a collaborative coworking space. Monday - Friday schedule (9am - 5pm). Some remote work flexibility available after training is established. Calm, respectful, and supportive environment; no chaos culture. Clear expectations and boundaries. Compensation & Benefits
$42,000–$50,000 annually , paid hourly (full-time, 40 hours/week). Monthly Healthcare & Wellness card
