Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal documents for commercial property sales, leases, and financing transactions. Review and analyze title reports and surveys; draft objection letters and coordinate resolution. Manage transaction timelines, coordinate closings, and oversee post-closing activities including recording, title policies, and binders. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation and research are complete and accessible for attorney review. Conduct online and document-based research to gather case-relevant information. Prepare entity formation documents and handle annual filings. Liaise with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Track billable hours and maintain accurate records in the firm’s timekeeping system. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal team. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Strong research skills, particularly in property records and ownership history across jurisdictions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe, Nuance, and legal document management systems (e.g., iManage, WorkShare). Experience handling a variety of commercial real estate transactions and filings. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial real estate law firm setting. Hands-on experience with title searches, survey reviews, and related documentation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet transaction deadlines. Seniority level
