What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide technical telephone, IPTV, and Internet support to customers, addressing complex questions about product functionality
Perform follow-up testing and troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution of technical support issues
Engage with customers through phone, chat, and email to recommend services and resolve issues
Act as the primary support liaison between the employer and residential customers
Maintain thorough knowledge of the employer's product line and applications utilized by customers
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, telecommunications, or technical support
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work nontraditional schedules/shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must have DSL or high-speed internet service with a minimum speed of 25 MB/s
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Ability to speak clearly using grammatically correct English; other language skills are a plus
Demonstrated personal excellence, including punctuality, integrity, and accountability
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience in providing customer service in a technical support setting
