Job Description / Responsibilities Join Sazerac as a key partner to vibrant on‑premise and bustling off‑premise locations to achieve volume and distribution sales goals for our brands across the diverse spirits portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
Crafting solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands soar in market share.
Using consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges, and skyrocket sales—building brands is an art.
Leading distributors with in‑store selling, marketing, and account execution.
Helping achieve volume objectives for the core brands in our portfolio.
Implementing and executing programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals.
Developing mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers by understanding their needs and requirements.
Acting as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and our internal team.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure we consistently reach our goals.
Job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in the alcohol‑beverage or CPG industries. New graduates should have a sales/marketing internship or full‑time sales role (preferably in CPG) and/or sales competition experience.
Results‑driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
Technical savvy: Successful use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results, identify market trends, and produce measurable outcomes.
Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
Schedule: Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
Location: Live in or near the territory.
Expenses: Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be reimbursed promptly.
Compliance: Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.
Physical Requirements
Standing for an extended period of time.
Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 lbs without assistance.
Ability to ascend or descend stairs.
Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day.
Strong communication skills.
