Insurance Follow Up Representative Compensation
$20 - $28 /hour, depending on experience About the Role

You’ll be instrumental in managing and resolving insurance claims, contributing to the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities & Duties
Contact insurance companies to confirm claim receipt Obtain payment and estimated payment date within 90 days Work on correspondence weekly to resolve pending accounts Ensure all EDI information is accurate and updated Answer inquiries within 48 hours to maximize reimbursement Work denials from assigned Remittance Advices weekly Document actions taken on encounters promptly Required Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent One year job‑related experience in revenue cycle Knowledge of third‑party reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid Experience with Medicare online system Good investigative skills and telephone techniques Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Payer portals Foundational knowledge of information systems and claims management 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long‑term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit Application
