POSITION: Mortgage Loan Officer First Service Bank, honored as one of Arkansas’ Best Places to Work for six consecutive years (2020–2025), is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer for our Conway, Arkansas market to help our customers find their way home.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that enjoys cultivating relationships, generating mortgage loan business, and guiding customers through the full home loan process—from application to closing. This role involves advising borrowers, partnering with realtors and community contacts, and delivering exceptional service with every interaction. You’ll represent First Service Bank with professionalism and energy while helping customers find the mortgage solutions that fit their needs.
This position is open to candidates located within a 30-mile radius of the First Service Bank branch for which they are applying. What You’ll Do
Manage and service an existing lending portfolio while developing new business for the bank
Attract potential borrowers by building and maintaining strong relationships with realtors, title companies, builders, and other centers of influence
Educate borrowers on available loan products and guide them confidently through the loan process
Represent the bank through active involvement in community events and by promoting all of the bank’s products and services
Apply strong knowledge of underwriting criteria and guidelines for Conventional, FHA, VA, and RD loans
Establish and cultivate long‑lasting relationships with customers, offering excellent service at every step
Source and develop new financing requests for both new and existing customers
Support the bank’s relationship‑focused culture through ongoing customer contact, quality service, and deep product expertise

Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan regulations
Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
Ability to build and maintain strong referral relationships
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and borrowers at once
Comfort working in a goal‑driven, community‑focused banking environment
Proficiency with computer systems, loan origination software, and standard office applications
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community and referral partner visits
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred, but not required
Possess a college degree in a related field
NMLS Certification
Previous mortgage lending experience
