Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and hands‑on Business Analyst (ERP & Systems Integration Specialist) to join our on‑site IT team in Edison, NJ. This role plays a critical part in documenting, analyzing, and optimizing business processes across ERP, e‑commerce platforms, warehouse management systems (WMS), and related integrations.

The Business Analyst will be deeply involved in a major migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, working closely with internal stakeholders, IT leadership, and external implementation partners. The ideal candidate is process‑driven, highly detail‑oriented, and comfortable bridging the gap between technical systems and real‑world business operations.

This is a full‑time, in‑office role for someone who enjoys digging into how systems actually work, asking the right questions, and translating complexity into clear, structured documentation and actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities Business Process Documentation & Analysis

Document current-state (AS-IS) business processes across ERP, e-commerce, WMS, finance, inventory, order management, and fulfillment systems

Create detailed process maps, workflows, system diagrams, and data flows

Analyze how systems interact across departments including sales, operations, finance, inventory, and logistics

Identify gaps, redundancies, inefficiencies, and risks in existing workflows

ERP & Systems Integration Support

Translate business operations and requirements into clear functional requirements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Support ERP migration efforts including gap analysis, configuration review, data validation, and testing support

Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting issues, tracking resolutions, and validating outcomes

Ensure integrations between ERP, e-commerce platforms, WMS, and third‑party tools are clearly documented and understood

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with on‑site business stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify workflows

Partner with IT, developers, vendors, and implementation consultants to ensure business needs are accurately represented

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment and clarity

Support change management by helping teams understand new processes and system behaviors

Process Improvement & Optimization

Identify opportunities to standardize processes across departments and systems

Recommend improvements to workflows, controls, and system usage

Help design future‑state (TO‑BE) processes that support scalability and efficiency

Contribute to building documentation standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in ERP, IT, or systems‑focused environments

Strong experience documenting complex business workflows and multi‑system integrations

Hands‑on experience working with ERP systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations

Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Experience using process mapping and documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar)

Understanding of order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, inventory, and financial workflows
