Summary The Client Administrator position provides technical and administrative insurance support. This involves interaction with clients as well as carriers to provide day-to-day service needs to insureds and prospects.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare insurance summaries, proposals, loss summaries, property/vehicle and other schedules as required with strict attention to detail and uniformity.
Respond to internal and external inquires which includes faxes, emails, and phone calls.
Process certificates of insurance, generate auto ID cards, assemble and prepare policy delivery for clients.
Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate, and invoice accordingly based on payment plan.
Request quotes from finance company, send and follow-up with insured to bill accordingly if plan is accepted.
Resolve payment and billing issues with accounting department.
Check policies and endorsements for accuracy in a timely fashion to meet internal service standards.
Review audits of policies and verify with client for accuracy, facilitate corrections as needed between client and carrier.
Performs timely follow-up and resolution related to cancellations and waivers of premium.
Handles any payment collection issues with help of Client Executive where needed.
Completes all suspense items accurately and timely.
Obtain and provide clients with workers compensation notices.
Assistance with phone rotation for Receptionist.
Any other duties as requested by management.
Required Experience
BA/BSDegree or equivalentexperience.
1-year small commercial lines insurance experience preferred.
Illinois Property and Casualty Agents license required after the start of employment.
High level knowledge of computer and word processing programs such as Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), and agency management systems.
Provides accurate and timely responses to clients, potential clients, and carriers.
Ability točeno work independently, as well as in coordination with other members of a team.
Ability to set priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions andERING responsibilities.
Working knowledge of P&C insurance products and usage preferred.
Expected to maximize efficiencies using good organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in requested timeframes.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to others to explain complex issues, receives and interprets complex information, and responds in an appropriate, professional manner.
Possesses analytical / problem‑solving skills.
Detail‑oriented and learns quickly.
Respond to client needs with a sense of urgency.
Position Type and Expected Work Hours This is a full‑time position. The associate must work 40.0 hours each week to maintain full‑time status. Days and hours of work are Monday affin Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility in hours.
Compensation and Benefits This is a non‑exempt position and the approximate range for the hourly rate is $23.00 - $25.50 per hour. Please note the range provided is a good faith estimate at the time of the posting. Actual compensation within that range is based on a wide variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, individual qualifications, depth of experience, knowledge, skills, applicable certifications, and physical work location(s).
