Role Description DP3 Architects, Ltd. is seeking an Interior Designer to join our collaborative, design-driven Interiors Studio in Greenville, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with at least five years of experience in a commercial design environment who is passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality interior environments that support architectural intent and client goals.
The ideal candidate is a creative professional with strong design skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to guide projects from concept through construction. This role requires a solid understanding of commercial interior design, space planning, material selection, and coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.
In this position, you will lead the interior design process on a variety of commercial projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and internal team members to deliver cohesive, well-executed design solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Leading interior design projects from concept through construction documentation
Developing space plans and layouts that support functional and aesthetic objectives
Preparing and coordinating interior construction drawings
Selecting finishes and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
Coordinating with consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure design intent, quality, schedules, and budgets are met
Participating in client presentations and internal design reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture required
Minimum five years of professional experience in commercial interior design
Strong proficiency in space planning and interior design principles
Solid understanding of architectural systems and construction documentation
Experience specifying and selecting FF&E for a range of project types
Proficiency in design and presentation software (Revit and Adobe Creative Suite required; SketchUp encouraged)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
