Praetorian Power Protection LLC .

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation for the mission‑critical industry, is searching for a strong Owner’s Representative for our data center project in Burlington, TX.

This role requires an owner’s advocate who will hold General Contractors and third‑party vendors accountable to aggressive milestones. You will act as the “on‑site eyes and ears,” identifying bottlenecks before they cause delays and pushing every trade from electrical to mechanical to maintain the critical path. Your focus will be on holding General Contractors accountable, ensuring smooth integration of all vendors, and driving projects back on track.

Praetorian Power Protection LLC provided pay range Base pay range $60.00/hr – $90.00/hr

In This Role You Will

Rigorously review GC provided schedules (P6/MS Project).

Spot "float" that shouldn't be there and push the GC to recover time through re‑sequencing or double shifting.

Perform daily site walks to verify that the "Manpower vs. Progress" ratio is sufficient to hit the next milestone.

If the GC is behind, you are the one demanding a recovery plan.

Proactively clear hurdles for the GC.

Whether it’s an RFI (Request for Information) iconic or a delayed permit, you take ownership of the resolution so the trades never have an excuse to stop working. Specifically oversee the delivery and installation of long‑lead Distributed Power Systems and Direct‑to‑Chip cooling manifolds, ensuring 3rd party vendors are integrated seamlessly into the GC’s workflow.

Manage the 3rd party Commissioning agents to ensure that testing doesn't become a "black hole" at the end of the project.

You will drive the "Pull Planning" sessions for the Integrated Systems Test (IST). Lead "War Room" meetings when milestones are missed.

You must be comfortable having difficult conversations with GC leadership and subcontractors to get the project back on track.

To qualify for this position, you must have the following background

10+ years as a Lead Superintendent or Senior PM for a Tier 1 General Contractor before moving to the Owner's side.

Critical Path Mastery: Expert level understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling. You don't just read a schedule; you deconstruct it.

Aggressive Problem Solving: You don't wait for an email response. You pick up the phone or walk into the trailer to get the answer needed to keep the site moving.

Infrastructure Expertise: Deep knowledge of Distributed Power Architectures and High Density Thermal Management. You understand that "close enough" doesn't work for AI grade reliability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Time to Ready for Gear: Did the room reach "dust free" and powered status on the date promised?

Schedule Variance: Maintaining a variance of
