Job Description
Our client, a company that specializes in the formation and ongoing management of group captive insurance companies, is seeking an Account Manager. This individual will provide client support services to commercial property/casualty insureds that are written under the organization's group captive programs. The typical lines written are workers' compensation, general liability and auto (typical individual) premiums range from $250,000 - $5,000,000). This is a hybrid position in Illinois. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive service to clients, including retail brokers, captive members and other service providers, across various group captive insurance functions. Collaborate with Account Managers and internal departments to secure, review, organize, and aggregate captive member underwriting new business and renewal data. Assist in developing and presenting new business and renewal proposals to retail brokers. Prepare group captive new business and renewal submissions for fronting carriers. Coordinate with captive fronting carriers to implement procedural improvements and resolve administrative issues related to captive documentation and information. Assist with binding new business and renewal coverage for assigned captive members in accordance with established procedures. Issue, explain, and maintain policy coverage documents and endorsements. Provide informed recommendations on captive carrier-specific, proprietary or ISO policy coverage forms and endorsements, identifying limitations, enhancements or deficiencies as needed. Respond to miscellaneous inquiries from fronting carrier underwriters. Facilitate correspondence with clients, brokers and fronting carriers at time of audit, including administrative management of documentation and invoicing. Act as an intermediary between clients and internal claims staff or TPAs for loss runs, claims details, contact updates and claim reporting inquiries or procedures. Assist in preparing and delivering presentation materials for client meetings. Collaborate with the accounting department to generate premium invoices and financing contracts, review premium transactions and reconciliations, and support collections and carrier payables as required. Requirements
College degree (preferred) 3+ years commercial insurance experience with middle market/complex accounts Strong knowledge of WC, GL and business auto coverage Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Access) Experience with or knowledge base of Applied Systems (preferred) Pay Range
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80K - $100K annually.
