JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create complex 3D models that comply with vehicle packaging requirements and internal design guidelines
Execution of design tasks as defined in the Engineering Change Management document (ECM)
Accurately represent product tolerances and datum structure
Develop engineering prints with adequate tolerances and datum schemes
Ability to accurately build and maintain Engineering Bill of Materials
Present design proposals to Engineering community
Complete design within the specified deadline
JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Proficient in NX and/or CATIA and/or CREO design software for 3D and 2D modeling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge and understanding of GD&T design rules
Basic knowledge of APQP guidelines
Manage and prioritize several tasks at once
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding & metal forming)
