Step-by-step guides for Microsoft Excel, Word, and 365 applications
Tutorials for open source software and Linux tools
Programming and scripting tutorials (Python, shell scripts, etc.)
Web app productivity guides
Tips, tricks, and features that help readers master software efficiently
We publish content that’s approachable, actionable, and often optimized for Google Discover, helping readers solve problems and get more out of their software.
Responsibilities
Write original, well-researched feature and tutorial articles for the Software & Applications category
Pitch story ideas that are practical, relevant, and reader-focused
Explain software concepts clearly for non-technical audiences
Meet deadlines and maintain consistent output
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience writing about software or applications (published samples required)
Hands-on familiarity with productivity software, programming tools, web apps, or open source software
Strong ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
Comfortable writing on a regular cadence
Open to editorial guidance and headline optimization
