About the Role As a

Technical Customer Service Team Member , you will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting our growth objectives. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, preparing and providing quotes, sourcing non-stock items through vendor partners, and processing customer orders. Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships is essential to ensure timely sourcing and competitive pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Source non-stock items through established vendor partners

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely sourcing and competitive pricing

Report competitive pricing to the Inside Sales Manager

Negotiate sale pricing with approval from the Inside Sales Manager

Follow up on customer quotes to ensure timely responses

Expedite orders when necessary

Assist with warranty claims and product returns

Provide support to Outside Sales and Account Managers

Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns

Offer technical assistance as needed

Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional walking, stair climbing, stooping, or bending

Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds

Close vision and ability to adjust focus as required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Experience using a multi-line phone system

Strong written communication skills for professional emails and correspondence

Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to the manufacturing plant environment

Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, odors, hydraulic fluids, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals

Safety glasses required for specific tasks

Typical office conditions with moderate noise levels

Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay $25.00 - $30.00 DOE

Benefits This position offers vacation, PTO and paid holidays. In addition, full-time employees are eligible to elect medical/dental/vision and participate in the company 401K plan.
