Intra‑Cellular Therapies, Inc. Job Responsibilities
Drive sales performance by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers, both in‑person and virtually, while following compliance guidelines.
Utilize assigned budgets to meet territory objectives and tailor client interactions to customer needs coworkers.
Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share information with internal stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions and identify appropriate programs/resources for each customer.
Work with the Regional Business Manager to develop a local business plan that achieves all objectives.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on shared goals and best practices.
Maintain accurate administrative records of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, sample and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer needs, resources, and products.
Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Strong desire to improve patient lives and an emulation of patient‑centricity.
High integrity and adherence to the Company’s Compliance policies and procedures.
Strong self‑motivationUW, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent decision judgment, and teamwork/cross‑functional skills.
Track record of learning and adapting to changing environments such as Covid‑19.
Agility to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and diagnose performance issues.
Experience building new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.
Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside normal hours; some overnight travel and domestic travel may be required.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
