As we continue to expand our national footprint, we are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to lead our growth in the New York market.
Position Overview: The Sales Representative for the New York territory will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing regional sales with a focus on architects, general contractors, developers, corporate clients, and end users. This role requires a self-starter with strong communication skills, industry awareness, and the ability to navigate long sales cycles while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share within the New York region
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and end users
Conduct on-site client visits, product presentations, and field measurements as needed
Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and quoting to closing and post-installation support
Collaborate closely with internal teams in Irving, including estimating, project management, design, and manufacturing
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and regional market developmentsAttend trade shows, networking events, and A&D presentations to increase brand awareness
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reporting
Represent the company’s values, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all interactions
Qualifications:
3+ years of sales experience in construction, building materials, commercial furnishings, or related industries
Existing relationships within the New York A&D or construction community preferred
Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and plan sets (training provided if needed)
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel throughout the New York region (majority of clients and contacts in Manhattan), with some travel to adjacent markets and occasional travel to Irving, Texas for training or meetings
