Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chadds Ford, PA, for a Collision Estimate Writer. The responsibilities include inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing detailed and accurate repair estimates, coordinating with insurance adjusters to negotiate costs, and providing excellent customer service by explaining the repair process and timelines. Additional duties involve assisting with parts orders, uploading required documentation, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer repair standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Experience in creating thorough, accurate collision repair estimates and familiarity with estimation software (e.g., CCC, Mitchell, or similar).
Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, manufacturer specifications, and insurance-related procedures.
Customer service and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members.
Detail-oriented approach to documentation and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of auto parts and their functionality; prior experience in an auto body or collision repair setting preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in collision estimating (e.g., I‑CAR, ASE) are a plus.
Proficiency with computers and standard office software; ability to learn new tools quickly.
