Retail Pharmacy Account Manager
The Retail Pharmacy Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for developing durable business, deepening collaboration with Retail Pharmacy Field Leaders and growing appropriate use of Pfizer Primary Care Retail Pharmacy products. This is accomplished by identifying shared objectives, aligning resources, and deploying innovative solutions to achieve targeted business results. The RAM's primary focus is to ensure access to the Pfizer retail pharmacy portfolio through the development of productive relationships with Retail Pharmacy field leaders to support mutually aligned goals through projects and educations that drive operationalization. Additionally, the RAM will engage diverse local stakeholders, combining innovative thought, entrepreneurial business acumen, and account management skills. This candidate will need to work with highly matrixed organizations at Pfizer and its Retail customers. This position reports to the National Pharmacy Business Director (NPBD) and must collaborate closely with the Retail Trade Account Director (TAD), Sales and Account colleagues, Marketing & CCG, Medical and Legal and Compliance to plan and implement activities to achieve national, regional and district Pfizer goals and objectives. Responsibilities include: Initiate and cultivate relationships with key retail pharmacy field leaders Leverage Pfizer's value proposition to create mutually beneficial business opportunities Identify, connect and communicate multiple insights from various stakeholders to develop a plan of action Develop a tailored account management approach to each account based on their needs Prioritize retail customers opportunities and projects to maximize impact Train and share externally-facing performance data with approved Retail Pharmacy Field Leaders Use Population Health Discovery Tool (PHDT) to share geographic & demographic immunization opportunities Implement and measure impact of customer-aligned Projects and Educations Identify & prioritize top Retail areas to progress the Operationalization process Analyze and monitor key market trends, competition, past customer interactions, and other market data Complete Full Account Management Curriculum Training, as well as Retail Pharmacy specific training Execute marketing programs across customer segment and present RC-approved materials Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree. Advanced degree in a related field preferred 5+ years pharmaceutical or retail-related experience - combination of sales and marketing in pharmaceuticals or related industries Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed product performance objectives Demonstrated success working in matrix environment, leading through influence and orchestrated customer interactions across multiple teams in different organizational structures Demonstrated ability to successfully engage and deliver impact among key decision makers with large accounts Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to formulate, develop, write, communicate and monitor the execution of stakeholder business plans Demonstrated experience in executing and in overseeing highly complex programs and projects (i.e., strong project management skills) Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively and gaining alignment with colleagues across different parts of the organization (including field and HQ) Demonstrated track record of assessing customer needs and bringing relevant cross-functional appropriate tools and resources Demonstrated track record of strong leadership, cross functional leadership, collaboration and effective utilization of available resources to drive performance Demonstrated experience leveraging data and all available information to prioritize business opportunities Strong understanding of evolving healthcare landscape in US, including US Healthcare Reform, and impact on Retail Pharmacy customers Demonstrated track record of strong business acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, and project management skills, as well as excellent planning and prioritization skills Demonstrated proficiency in executive level customer engagement presentations Excellent communication skills to impactfully explain public health argument and clinical value proposition of Pfizer Retail Pharmacy products to target customers, and to influence the products' acceptance within the customer organization This position is an individual contributor with accountability for collaborative matrix leadership with other customer-facing colleagues with respect to local geography and must always adhere to and model all Pfizer Values and compliance principles Extensive travel is required based on geography.
