Field Representative II, MS Onsite Technical Support
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Print Shop Operator to join our growing in-house print center. As demand for high-quality internal collateral continues to rise, we need a dedicated professional to manage the end-to-end production of marketing materials, training documents, presentations, and large-format displays. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in producing flawless physical materials and thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment with multiple deadlines. Key Responsibilities
1. Print Production & Operation Machine Operation: Operate high-volume digital production printers (e.g., Ricoh) and large-format plotters (e.g., Roland) to deliver high-quality output. File Processing: Manage the print queue and review incoming digital files for formatting, bleed, and resolution issues prior to printing (pre-flighting). Color Management: Calibrate equipment regularly to ensure brand color consistency across all projects. Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, clear paper jams, and resolve minor technical issues; coordinate with vendors for major repairs. 2. Finishing & Fulfillment Post-Press Finishing: Utilize finishing equipment for cutting, folding, saddle-stitching, coil/comb binding, laminating, and scoring. Packaging: Organize, shrink-wrap, and package finished jobs for safe inter-office delivery or shipping. Quality Control: Conduct rigorous checks to ensure accurate pagination, cleanliness, and alignment. Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 3 years in a related role; 5 years preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with high-speed digital copiers/printers and offline finishing equipment (guillotines, folders, binders). Software: Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro (for pre-flighting) and Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills: Strong time management and ability to prioritize rush jobs without compromising quality. Professional appearance and adherence to company dress standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Meet company attendance standards; 40-hour workweek, MondayFriday. Preferred Experience & Skills
Familiarity with Fiery Command WorkStation or VersaWorks RIP software. Basic design skills in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator for minor file adjustments. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (5075% of the workday). Ability to lift and move paper boxes and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity for precise finishing tasks.
