Social Media Specialist executes our corporate social media strategy—targeting investors, financial analysts, business media, and industry stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of External Communications,you'llcreate content, manage community engagement, and track performance across corporate digital platforms.You'llcollaborate with global colleagues across brand marketing, communications, and functional teams.
Your Impact Social Media Content Creation & Publishing Create engaging content (posts, graphics, videos) for AGCO’s corporate social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X). Schedule and publish content calendars whilemaintainingconsistent brand voice across platforms.
Community Management & Engagement: Monitor AGCO's corporate social media channels daily, respond professionally to comments and messages, and flag issues or opportunitiestoleadership.
Social Media Operations & Tool Administration: Administer social media management platforms (Sprinklr) including workflow setup and content scheduling. Execute paid social media campaigns following approved strategies and budgets.
Analytics & Optimization: Track metrics, prepare reports with insights,monitorcompetitors, and test new features to improve performance.
Platform Administration & Special Projects: Support executive thought leadership initiatives for select leaders. Maintain organized video archives. Contribute content updates to AGCOcorp.com as needed. Support other communications projects as assigned
Your Experience and qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field preferred.
3+ years in social media management, digital communications, or content creation; strong writing and editing skills for platform-optimized content; excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; self-motivated team player who works well independently and collaboratively with remote colleagues.
Skilled in LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Microsoft Office, and content creation tools; graphic design capabilities using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with enterprise social media management tools like Sprinklr.
Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts, engaging online communities, and creating B2B corporate communications content.
Working knowledge of social media analytics and data interpretation; experience with paid social media advertising on LinkedIn and Meta platforms.
