Eckert and Ziegler Analytics seeks a Shipping and Receiving Specialist I who is responsible for: Packaging and shipping of hazardous material shipments according to 49CFR and IATA regulations to domestic and international customers Receipt and disposition of shipments, materials and supplies Warehouse organization and upkeep Support of facility maintenance Essential Duties
1. Perform packaging and shipping of all customer orders including radioactive, hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations. 2. Receive, inspect and log-in consolidated shipments, radioactive materials, parts, supplies and customer supplied containers. Verify packing list against purchase orders. 3. Ensure that all shipping and receiving documents are delivered to Accounting department daily. 4. Ensure that all outgoing shipments have been wiped for contamination and wipe data documented in appropriate logs. 5. Ensure that all receiving, shipping and warehouse areas are safe, clean, and organized. 6. Maintain all packaging and shipping supplies.
