About the Team The Platform Sales team is a highly consultative, enterprise‑sales team responsible for some of Stripe’s largest and fastest‑growing partners. As a Platform Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role on our go‑to‑market leadership bench—leading a team of account executives to make payments‑as‑a‑service a competitive advantage for high‑growth organizations.
Responsibilities
Drive sales growth through successful leadership, organizational planning, customer service, and outstanding execution.
Oversee the expansion of Stripe’s footprint with global SaaS platforms.
Make hiring decisions, hone the ideal candidate profile and onboarding strategy.
Create structure and focus for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns, driving execution and measurement, analyzing results, and making######## timely recommendations.
Define key sales support mechanisms, processes, and programs to meet rapid growth and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives.
Build a world‑class organization and write the playbook for monetizing payments on platform.
Lead a team of sophisticated Existing Business Platform account‑executives to expand our global footprint with enterprise SaaS platforms.Drive deal strategy and partner across the business to ensure a healthy pipeline, funnel conversion, win rate, and margin preservation across the portfolio.
Work cross‑functionally to shape Stripe’s product roadmap and drive best practices on selling and forecasting.
Engage with the largest strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships.
Be accountable for delivering revenue growth.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
12‑15+ years of relevant enterprise sales experience.
3‑5+ years of people‑management experience.
Ability to hire, coach, and motivate a high‑performance sales team.
Ability to articulate complex, technical concepts and translate them into business‑relevant terms.
Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Thrives in fast‑paced settings with high autonomy and can create clarity and structure.
Knack for working well with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Experience scoping and managing strategic projects with input from cross Keskimäärä nal teams.
Prior experience in financial services, the payments industry, or with card networks.
In‑Office Expectations Office‑assigned Stripe employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in a local office each month. Expectations may vary by role, team, and location. For example, employees in our Bucharest office have an 80% in‑office expectation, while those in our Delivery Center roles in Mexico City and Bengaluru work fully from the office. The flexibility balances in‑person collaboration and team workflows.
Pay & Benefits The annual U.S. base salary range for this role is $389,600–$584,400. For sales roles, the range represents on‑target earnings (OTE), including commissions and bonuses. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
