Essential Job Functions: Providing prompt and courteous customer service. Promoting current charitable promotions. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe environment. Being knowledgeable about produce varieties, including their taste, seasonality, preparation, and price differences. Following procedures for receiving, coding, storing, and restocking products to maintain quality and freshness. Meeting sanitation standards, including routine cleaning tasks. Operating equipment like balers and compactors, adhering to regulations and company policies. Ensuring displays are stocked and attractively presented. Handling damaged goods per company policy and maintaining temperature control. Adhering to Country of Origin Label regulations and company shrink guidelines. Following the HAZCOM program for the safe use of chemicals. Regularly checking and reporting equipment performance. Complying with dress and grooming standards, including wearing a uniform and safety gear. Completing department training programs and following company service priorities. Standing for entire shifts and working overtime as needed. Being 18 or older to operate certain machinery.
