Strong B2B sales background as an individual contributor, with experience in direct sales Experience selling data-as-a-service products and/or advertising or HR services Comfortable selling into public relations, communications, marketing, and HR departments at Fortune 500 companies Background in a highly transactional, high-volume B2B sales environment — someone who still believes in cold calling Approximately 7–10 years of combined sales and leadership experience Ideally a candidate who is ready to step into a team lead role and has some initial experience managing a team Highly analytical, with the ability to assess and optimize sales pipelines Thrives in a dynamic data and media environment and is motivated to make a meaningful impact Reports directly to the CEO Responsible for leading and overseeing Sales, Customer Service, Sales Operations, and Marketing Will manage an overall team of approximately 15–20 people Excellent communication skills, a strong personality, and a compelling storyteller Base salary, variable part (commission + Bonus) and participation in ESOP once implemented (anticipated within the next 3–6 months)
