What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Drive growth across customer accounts, focusing on developing new OEM and machine builder relationships
Collaborate with the Distributor Commercial team to pursue end customer business opportunities
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within the designated territory
Educate customers on the differentiation and value of products, guiding them to customized solutions
Report market conditions and competitor trends to the leadership team regularly
What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education
Minimum of 3 years of outside technical sales experience; motion control experience with motors/drives/controls preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of products
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Proven skills in account planning, time management, and CRM proficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in motion control and familiarity with various industrial applications
Strong relationship-building skills with OEMs and distributors
Advanced negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
Demonstrated ability to deliver value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs
Experience in a matrixed environment, collaborating cross-functionally
